- Doğruluk Payı project launched in June 2014 to do reliable fact-checking in Turkey which was highly needed just before the presidential elections in August 2014.

- 9 full-time, 1 part-time and around 10 volunteers. 1 Executive Director, 1 Chief Editor, 3 editors, 1 graphic designer, 2 video producers, 1 reporter and digital coordinator.

Doğruluk Payı looks through claims on daily basis and the editorial board picks claims based on their nature of whether they can be fact-checked or not, and the ratio of political parties/fact-checks, to make sure political parties take place in our fact-checks in a ratio with their representation in Turkish National Parliament.

As mentioned in their methodology they have three main criteria they consider before analyzing a claim:

* The qualitative and quantitative data shown as the basis of the claim are in agreement with the data in public sources.

* The quality of the sources for which qualitative and quantitative data are verified / falsified.

* Purpose of allegation and appropriateness of context.

These are all in accordance with IFCN's code of principles and parallel with other IFCN members' activities.

Analyzes with different data sets and expressions are available. Differences between expressions and data sets were evaluated objectively.

Due to its format and data-oriented approach, Doğruluk Payı is a very meticulous institution in this regard. Information such as the institutions from which the data was taken and the dates the data was collected are available in the contents. Quality data sets are prioritized, and data directly from the state or non-state actors whose methodology is acceptable are included.

All parties are allowed to provide data, comment and corrections where possible.

Our website doesn't have a direct channel or a page that allows our users to submit a claim to fact-check to us.
