Francisco Rolfsen Belda is a Brazilian journalist and holds both a masters degree in Communications and a PhD in Production Engineering from the University of São Paulo (USP). He teaches journalism at São Paulo State University (UNESP) and is a visiting professor at Brandeis University. He is the co-chair of the Brazilian chapter of The Trust Project, in a partnership with Projor, a Brazilian journalism think-tank. He was the managing director of Tribuna Impressa, a local paper in Araraquara, and consulting advisor for EPTV, a São Paulo state regional broadcast system. As an entrepreuner, he founded Casa da Árvore, a publishing firm, developed news media websites and the educational game Supergenius.
